History and mission of “Narodna Rada”

The commonwealth consists of free, independent, equal citizens who interact, communicate and voluntarily self-organize on the basis of common interests independent of the state. The people are protected by laws as a result of being handed over to the side of the state, and in their marriage they respect democratic values.

Gromadyanin is the basis of marriage

Narodna Rada focuses on supporting the rebuilding of Ukraine through the development of a strong civil society, transparent governance, and effective cooperation between communities, institutions, and international partners.
The organization promotes open dialogue, responsible leadership, and inclusive decision-making processes that reflect the needs and priorities of citizens.
By fostering collaboration and innovation, Narodna Rada contributes to sustainable recovery, social cohesion, and long-term development in Ukraine.

VGO "SGOU "Narodna Rada"

All-Ukrainian Community Organization “Specialist of Community Organizations of Ukraine “Narodna Rada” (VGO “SGOU “Narodna Rada”) was registered on April 19, 2003.

Priorities approved by the 1st Conference (June 3, 2003)

Equal access of the population to the creation of the state, the development of a humanistic political system and economic reform.
The consolidation of huge organizations around a single idea: “Pride in one’s land and respect for its future share is beyond translation for the Cossack family.”
The formation of a middle class and a healthy nation on cultural, humane and spiritual grounds.
Development of social programs and major projects based on Ukrainian national traditions from a wide range of active citizens and intellectuals.

Initiate and implement

The initiators and authors of the CMU Resolution “On ensuring the participation of the population in the formation and implementation of government policy.”
Spokespersons of the Decree of the President of Ukraine “On securing the minds for greater participation of the population in the formation and implementation of government policy.”
There is an active participation in fragmented changes to legislation, expert and analytical bodies of government policy in various spheres.
Over 600 of our representatives were members of large councils at the Allied Military Forces.

War and volunteering

Since 2022, at the initiative of the organization, a congress has been held and the United Cossacks of Ukraine have been created. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, members of the organization organized territorial defense and joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

About a thousand participants became activists of the volunteer movement: collecting and delivering humanitarian aid to military and civilians in combat zones.

Memorandums have been signed with territorial communities to implement the humanitarian mission and restore the consequences of the war. Appeals from members of the organization regarding the protection of their civil rights are processed daily.

By decision of the Board, awards from the public of Ukraine for significant services to the people were introduced.

Milestones of development

December 19, 2003

Registration of the Public Organization "Public Educational Institution "Narodna Rada".

October 3, 2003

I Conference. Priority areas of activity were approved.

2003–2025

Initiatives and co-authorship of government decisions, active expert participation in law-making processes, representation in public councils.

2022

Congress: creation of a united Cossacks of Ukraine. Deployment of volunteer and defense initiatives. The political party "People's Council - Narodna Rada" was registered, and regional branches of the party were registered.

2023

Creation of the International Global Security Council. The work of the organization's volunteer movement.

2024

Cooperation with foreign grantors and charitable organizations. Active work has begun with Schlossberg & Associates (USA) and MDB International Trading.INC in the program for the return of seized Russian assets in the USA and Europe. Development of a program for the transfer of these funds to Ukraine.

2025

Cooperation with state bodies on the program for the return of funds to Ukraine (Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Administration of the President of Ukraine). Work has begun on the creation of the HELP Ukraine project with European partners. Study of the needs of territorial communities of Ukraine.
