The All-Ukrainian NGO “Union of Public Organizations ‘People’s Council’” was registered in 2003.

The main goal of the union is to consolidate the efforts of all public organizations in order to increase community participation in political, state-building, and public life, as well as to form a middle class consisting of representatives of the creative, educational, scientific, managerial, and medical intelligentsia, and representatives of small and medium-sized businesses as the foundation of civil society.

Since 2010, members of the organization have continuously served as members of public advisory councils.

The structure of the All-Ukrainian NGO “Union of Public Organizations ‘People’s Council’” includes twenty-five committees, which have been actively developing over the past five years.

The most active work is carried out by members of the Committee on Combating Corruption and Organized Crime.

There are 26 public reception offices of the Committee’s departments operating in the regions of Ukraine, as well as administrative units in most districts on a permanent basis.

Funds that are part of the NGO “Union of Public Organizations “Narodna Rada” and its full members actively conduct volunteer work

Medical supplies, clothing, and food are regularly sent to the combat zone.
Several volunteer groups operate in particular in the Kherson, Chernivtsi, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, and Kyiv regions.

Members of the Committee on Combating Corruption and Organized Crime have participated in court proceedings as public defenders. Each year, work is carried out with state authorities and local self-government bodies in response to requests and complaints from members of the organization.

  • At personal receptions in the central office, the heads of the organization received 573 people with complaints, all of which were reviewed.
  • Lawyers provide regular consultations in frontline areas.
  • Members of the NGO “Narodna Rada” took part in organizing and conducting the charity campaign “Ukraine Without War” at Euromaidan.
  • Every year during the Christmas season, celebrations of New Year and Christmas holidays are organized for children whose parents are serving in the war.
  • Ongoing work is carried out on patriotic education of youth, including the formation of public order units (Poltava region), initiatives to restore military higher educational institutions, and the creation of border protection units from local residents to guard Ukraine’s borders (Kherson and Sumy regions).
  • Lawyers and public defenders continuously protect the rights of citizens discharged from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
  • The program “Genetic Tag” has been developed to create a DNA database of military personnel.
  • The Art Front provides support for the moral and psychological resilience of military personnel, civilians affected by hostilities, and internally displaced persons.
  • With the assistance of the NGO “Union of Public Organizations “Narodna Rada”, the All-Ukrainian charity festival “Ordinary Miracle” was held.
  • The organization supports the implementation of the project “Golden Fund of the Nation.”
  • Together with the “Our Children” Foundation, they participated in the implementation of the project “State. Children. Law.”
